The eldest brother of the former P-Square music duo, Henry Okoye, has expressed doubts about the possibility of Peter and Paul Okoye fully reconciling, saying the prolonged dispute between the twins may have caused lasting damage to their relationship.
Henry made the remarks during an interview with social commentator Jos Connection at the Okoye family’s residence in Plateau State on Friday, where he discussed the renewed disagreement involving his younger brothers.
While acknowledging Peter’s efforts to resolve the family dispute, Henry said he was not optimistic that the twins would return to the close relationship they once shared.
He, however, appealed to Paul to consider forgiving Peter and ending the prolonged rift, recalling the support Peter allegedly provided to members of the family, including paying his hospital bills when he was ill.
“Peter is trying. I don’t know if Jude used juju on Paul because he was the nicest person in the family before. But the way he changed is surprising,” Henry said.
He also alleged that he had watched Peter’s accounts of the events that led to the renewed disagreement and maintained that the dispute had affected the entire family.
Henry recalled that the twins had previously promised him a share of their earnings after they became successful, but claimed their elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, later intervened.
“They promised me 20 per cent when they start making money. Jude intervened and dismissed that. I challenged him that he wasn’t there when we started everything but now chasing everybody away from them,” he said.
Despite his concerns, Henry said he would welcome any opportunity for the brothers to reunite.
“I will be happy for them to come back together but I don’t think it will happen. Paul was a very kind person,” he added.
He also recalled an incident following the death of Peter’s wife’s father, saying Peter directed him to Jude over money he claimed was being held on his behalf.
“When Peter’s wife’s dad died, I spoke to them why they left only me in Jos. Peter said I should meet Jude, he’s the one holding my money. I want all the family to come back. I have tried my best. Even Shehu Dantata spoke to them and they didn’t listen,” Henry said.
Henry appealed to Jude to help restore peace within the family, urging him to play a role in resolving the disagreements among the siblings.
The latest intervention comes amid a long-running dispute between Peter, Paul and Jude, which has repeatedly attracted public attention and reignited debate among fans of the former music group.

Peter and Paul first split in 2017 after years of performing together as P-Square. The twins reunited in 2021, giving fans hope that the disagreements that had separated them had been resolved.
However, their reunion was short-lived, with another major dispute emerging in 2024.
The latest disagreement became increasingly public after Peter accused Paul of working with Jude to undermine him and raised questions about the management of P-Square’s finances.
Peter also alleged that another company, Northside Music Limited, was receiving royalties belonging to P-Square and claimed that the company was linked to Jude and his wife.
Paul, however, defended Jude and accused Peter of being responsible for the legal difficulties facing their elder brother.
In February 2025, Paul said he was supporting Jude because he believed his elder brother knew the truth about the issues surrounding the dispute.
Jude was subsequently arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over allegations involving N1.38 billion, $1 million and £34,537.59. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Peter later testified in the case, alleging that Jude secretly incorporated Northside Music Limited and used the company to collect royalties belonging to P-Square.
The financial dispute has continued before the courts. During cross-examination in February 2026, Peter reportedly admitted that he was a co-signatory to the Northside Entertainment Limited account, contradicting an earlier position that Jude was the sole signatory.
The disagreement between the brothers has also continued to play out publicly, with Peter and Paul making conflicting claims about their relationship and Jude’s involvement in the collapse of P-Square.
Henry’s latest comments add another family perspective to the dispute, as he appealed to the siblings to put their differences aside and restore peace within the Okoye family.
He said he remained hopeful that the family could eventually heal, while acknowledging the difficulty of reversing the damage caused by years of conflict.
