Popular Nigerian role interpreter, Nancy Isime, who recently made headlines on social media for her nude scene in a movie, ‘Shanty Town’, that was released on Netflix on January 20, 2022, has revealed how the scene came to be.
Online discussion on whether or not the actress is truly nude has been triggered by the moment in which she is shown to be unclothed. Some have criticized the sequence as needless.
The sequence, which has garnered a lot of public interest, shows a subtle and private exchange between Isime’s character and that of renowned actor Richard Mofe-Damijo.
Isime, however, responded to the chat by admitting that a body double had been used in place of her to display her nude in the scenario.
The filmmaker and TV host shared a post via her instagram page She wrote, “Simmer down horny boys and girls. I know those gorgeous body parts excites you but they sadly belong to my beautiful body double. Mine aren’t that succulent.
It could be recalled another nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye drew similar responses on social media when it appeared as though she had her breasts exposed in the movie “Anikulapo,” but the film’s makeup artist, Hakeem Effect, eventually came forward to say it was a prosthetic boobs.
