Popular American rapper Cardi B has disclosed that she nearly suffered a miscarriage due to a recent “freak accident.”
Although she did not provide details about the incident, she mentioned that it left her temporarily paralyzed.
“I had a f*cking freak accident. It doesn’t happen often, but it became something that was so big to the point I was literally paralyzed. It almost cost me my little one to come,” she said this during a recent chat with fans on X.
Cardi B, who recently announced her third pregnancy, shared that fortunately, the recent incident didn’t lead to a miscarriage.
However, after returning home from the hospital she said she was as “high as a kite” due to the morphine she took to manage the pain.
The rapper mentioned that she wouldn’t hesitate to go back to the hospital if the pain persists.
This comes after she confirmed that her estranged husband, Offset, is the father of the third child she’s expecting, despite their ongoing divorce.
The couple, who secretly married in 2017, have two children together: a 6-year-old daughter, Kulture, and a 2-year-old son, Wave, with a third child on the way.
According to an American outlet, People, Cardi B is seeking primary custody of their children in the divorce proceedings.
