Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu on Monday said it would be better he does not engage Senator Smart Adeyemi whom he described as a mad man.
Ikpeazu’s comment was coming while speaking as a special guest during the unveiling of a book written by the Minority Leader of the Senate, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, titled: “Made in Aba”.
Ikpeazu was responding to Senator Adeyemi recent statement, where he called the governor a “drunkard”.
Ikpeazu speaking on that quoted the words of Professor Chinua Achebe, who admonished that if a mad man picks the clothes of a man taking his bath and runs away if the man runs after the mad man, nobody will know who is mad.”
The governor told the people at the event that though he doesn’t drink, he has nothing against the people who drink.
