The death has occurred of Sir Williams Best Idahosa aged 85.
Until his death, Sir Williams Best Idahosa was a native of Ehor town in Uhunmwode Local Government Area of Edo State.
A retired Superintendent of Police ( SP), who in various positions in the police, including: O/C Robbery, State CID, and Anini saga, Bendel State Police Command, Benin City, Edo State.
He was also Aide de Camp (ADC) to the then governor, Prof Ambrose Folorunsho Alli, among others.
Idahosa was also of the Okaegbe, Osaghae Idahosa, Agbonghae, Oviawe and Odia Children in Ehor town and a great son of the Ologbosere Igite family.
He is survived by a wife, Lady ( Mrs) Rose Idahosa and Children.
He was a Knight of the Anglican Church in Benin City and has since been buried in Benin City after a funeral mass.
In a statement signed by his Cousin, Dr ( Prince) Nosakhare Owen Akenzua, the family applauded friends and family members for attending the funeral ceremonies for Sir Williams Best Idahosa.
