Rapper Odumodublvck has advised Nigerian artists to steer clear of animosity towards Grammy-winning singer Wizkid.
During a recent chat with content creator Elsie in Toronto, Canada, the singer emphasized that harboring ill feelings towards Wizkid is a form of self-destruction.
He also mentioned that on a personal level, he wouldn’t take offense if he collaborated with Wizkid on his album and Wizkid chose not to promote it on social media.
“There are some artists that when you release music with them, they look as if they are doing you a favour.
“I’ve never released music and asked the artist that I featured to post it. I don’t care if you promote it. You’ve done the most important thing by giving me a verse,” he said.
“If Wizkid gives me a verse and my album comes and he doesn’t post about it, I will not be angry. If you start hating on Wizkid Machala, you lose.”
