IGP Egbetokun Unveils State-of-the-Art Adamawa Police Headquarters

In a remarkable stride toward modernizing the Nigeria Police Force, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) on the 27th of March, 2025, officially unveiled the newly completed main office of the Adamawa State Command headquarters.

The towering structure now stands as a significant addition to the headquarters complex, complementing the existing offices, including the historic main building where the State Commissioner of Police operates.

Strategically positioned at the heart of Jimeta, the new headquarters takes its place at the iconic Police Roundabout now transformed into the Police Flyover within Yola North Local Government Area.

In a ceremonious moment, the IGP cut the ribbon, marking the grand opening of the edifice, which he described as a prototype model already established in several states and set to be replicated across Nigeria’s 36 states.

Emphasizing his administration’s dedication to improving working and living conditions for officers, the IGP highlighted the construction of similar prototype police stations nationwide. He reaffirmed that investing in modern infrastructure is a key strategy in enhancing operational efficiency and boosting morale within the force.
