A man convicted for running a major illegal football streaming operation in the United Kingdom could face an additional decade behind bars if he fails to repay millions in illicit earnings, according to a report by The Athletic.
The individual, identified as the leader of the “Flawless” streaming network, was previously sentenced to 11 years in prison in 2023 for orchestrating one of the largest illegal broadcasting schemes targeting Premier League matches.
Authorities revealed that the network employed around 30 workers and serviced more than 50,000 users and resellers, generating over £7 million in profits across a five-year period.
The operation allowed subscribers to bypass official broadcasters and access live football content at cut-rate prices.

However, legal troubles for the convicted ringleader are far from over. Prosecutors say he now faces a further 10-year prison sentence if he does not repay £2.35 million within a three-month deadline, under proceeds-of-crime enforcement laws.
The case underscores growing efforts by UK authorities to clamp down on digital piracy, particularly in sports broadcasting, where illegal streaming continues to cost rights holders billions in lost revenue annually.
