Nollywood legend Zack Orji has refuted social media rumors claiming he is from Gabon.
Via his Instagram page, @realzackorji, the actor expressed frustration over the false claims, noting this isn’t the first time such misinformation has circulated about him.
He clarified that he is a proud Nigerian from Enugu, the Coal City State.
Orji called upon God to address those spreading these lies, mentioning that similar false rumors once declared him dead, though he remains alive by the grace of God.
The father of three emphasized that his parents are also Nigerians.
“Not long ago, they said I was dead; by God’s grace and mercy, it turned out to be a lie from the pit of hell.
“Now, another lie from the pit of hell has emerged, this time they said that I am from Gabon. That I am not a Nigerian.
“I hereby issue a disclaimer dissociating myself from that lie. I am a full-blooded Nigerian.
“God Almighty will deal with whoever originated that lie. He will deal with the liar as He deems fit,” the actor wrote.
