President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, met with Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Personal Assistant to the President on Media, Buhari Sallau, who also shared photos from the meeting, disclosed this.
“President @MBuhari receives Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma in State House on 23rd Feb 2021,” Sallau wrote on Twitter.
Although details of the meeting have not been made available to newsmen, it may not be unconnected with the recent incident in Imo State in which the immediate past governor of the state and incumbent Senator, Rochas Okorocha, was arrested by the police.
Okorocha was arrested by the police on Sunday along with some of his aides for breaking into Spring Palm Estate sealed by the state government last Friday.
The estate is linked to Okorocha’s wife, Nkechi.
