Kano Commissioner Seeks Recall of Madakin Gini Over Poor Representation

In a charged stakeholders’ meeting of the Dala Local Government chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), the Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, made a bold call for the recall of Hon. Ali Sani Madakin Gini from the National Assembly.

Waiya cited what he described as the lawmaker’s poor representation of the people of Dala Local Government Area.

“The people of Dala deserve leadership that truly reflects their aspirations. Hon. Madakin Gini’s performance has not lived up to the expectations of our constituents, and his recall is imperative to ensure their voices are heard,” Waiya declared, his words resonating with the audience.

The commissioner emphasized the pivotal role of Dala Local Government in Kano State, highlighting its prominence with the highest number of commissioners in the state executive council and the majority leader of the Kano State House of Assembly among its ranks.

Waiya also lauded the efforts of Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, describing him as a tireless grassroots politician committed to the development of the people.

He urged the residents of Dala to come together in unity to push for progress, not only within their local government but across Kano State.

The meeting was attended by notable dignitaries, including Alhaji Lawan Husaini Dala, Chairman of the Dala NNPP; Alhaji Dayyab Ahmad Maiturare, Kano State Commissioner of Environment; and Hon. Suraj Kwankwaso, adding weight to the commissioner’s impassioned appeal.
