The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested two teenage boys, Umar Yahaya, 19, and Musa Al-Hassan, 18, for allegedly planning a birthday party for pimps during the forthcoming Eid-el-Fitr celebration in Kano.
The Deputy Command General of the Board, Mujahideen Aminudeen, confirmed the arrests on Tuesday, saying the teenagers had invited colleagues from across the country via social media to attend the event immediately after Eid prayers.
Aminudeen said the planned party involved dancing and other acts considered inappropriate, undermining the spiritual benefits of Ramadan.

He added that the teenagers lacked proper understanding of Islam and good conduct, and that the Board would supervise them to provide religious guidance and instill responsibility.
The Hisbah Board also announced it would monitor mosques during the final days of Ramadan to ensure proper conduct during night prayers and prevent misuse of worship spaces.
