Popular American singer and actress Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, fondly called Lady Gaga, has confirmed her engagement to her French boyfriend, Michael Polansky.
The songwriter announced her engagement to the 46-year-old Frenchman during a conversation with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the Paris Olympics over the weekend.
In a TikTok post on the 28th of July, 2024, Attal shared a short clip of Gaga introducing herself and Polansky.
While introducing him, she surprised fans by saying, “This is my fiancé.
Recall that the couple first sparked dating rumors after being spotted together at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas in 2019.
The duo, however, confirmed their relationship a few months later on Instagram. According to the Daily Mail, they reportedly separated for a time in early 2023 but reunited by August of that year.
In March this year, they celebrated Gaga’s 38th birthday with friends at Giorgio Baldi in California.
Also, during her performance at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games, Gaga mentioned that although she isn’t French, she has “always felt a very special connection with French people and singing French music.”
