The Lagos State chapter of All Progressives Congress is in mourning following the sudden death of its newly elected Assistant Publicity Secretary, Karamo Yesiro, who passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, only hours before his planned inauguration.
Yesiro had been chosen to serve in the state executive committee during the party congress held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, where delegates selected new officials through consensus arrangements.
His formal induction into office, scheduled for Thursday, March 5, 2026, was postponed after news of his untimely death emerged.
Party leaders expressed profound sadness over the loss, describing Yesiro as a committed and energetic figure within the organization.
