Remains of the late Lagos State House of Assembly member representing Kosofe Constituency II, Tunde Buraimoh, were buried on Friday at the Ikoyi cemetery according to Islamic rites.
Braimoh died early Friday after a brief illness at the age of 60.
Braimoh, who was the Chairman of the House Committee on Information, had been absent from the Assembly’s Complex for two weeks due to illness, sources said.
The late lawmaker was the Chairman of Kosofe Local Government between 1999 and 2002. He was also the Bamofin of Ketuland.
Braimoh was born on September 30, 1960. He attended Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye (now Olabisi Onabanjo University), where he studied Law and graduated in 1988.
He was re-elected for a second term as a lawmaker on Saturday, March 9.
