Renowned On-Air Personality, Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, fondly as Do2dtun, has bid farewell to radio after an illustrious two-decade career.
In a heartfelt and now-viral post on his Instagram page, he penned his departure with poignant words: “20 years on radio, it is time to say goodbye.
It is time to leave what I loved and would always love.”
Reflecting on his remarkable journey, Cool FM shared an Instagram post on the 24th of January, 2025, capturing Do2dtun’s rise from an eager intern to a celebrated voice in the industry.
He recalled his humble beginnings under the mentorship of radio legends like Daddy Freeze, the late Dan Foster, and Olisa Adibua, a journey that culminated in him becoming a household name.
“This must be one of the hardest decisions I have made,” he wrote. “I’m fulfilled in my heart that I built a legacy. Oh, my sweet home @coolfmlagos accepted me on Nov 1st, 2004, as an intern—dusty, unprepared, and knowing nothing about radio.”
With this emotional goodbye, Do2dtun marks the end of an era, leaving behind a legacy etched in the hearts of his listeners.
