Ademola Lookman was the star of the show as Atalanta cruised to a dominant 5-0 victory over Empoli in their Serie A clash on Sunday.
The game saw an early breakthrough when Emmanuel Gyasi put the ball into his own net in the 27th minute, gifting Atalanta the lead.
Matteo Retegui doubled the advantage six minutes later, before Lookman got in on the act with a fine finish in the 43rd minute to make it 3-0 before halftime.
The African King struck again in the 55th minute, sealing his brace and further extending Atalanta’s dominance.

Davide Zappacosta then put the icing on the cake in the 74th minute, wrapping up an emphatic performance for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.
With the win, Atalanta now sit just three points behind league leaders Inter Milan and two behind Napoli, who suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to newly promoted Como on the same day.
