Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Colombian winger Luis Díaz from Liverpool for a fee of €75 million.

Díaz, who joined Liverpool in early 2022 from Portuguese club FC Porto, has been an important player for the Premier League side. Known for his speed, dribbling, and energy, the 27-year-old made a big impact at Anfield, helping Liverpool in both domestic and European competitions.

The German giants made the move as part of their efforts to strengthen the team after a disappointing season. With new manager Vincent Kompany in charge, Bayern are hoping Díaz can bring fresh creativity and attacking power to their squad.

Speaking after the deal was announced, Bayern boss Vincent Kompany said, “Luis is a top talent who fits perfectly into the way we want to play. His hunger, pace, and attitude will bring something special to our attack.”

According to reports, Díaz has signed a long-term contract and will join his new teammates soon to begin training ahead of the new season. This transfer is one of the biggest in Bayern’s history, showing how highly they rate the Colombian star.

“I’m excited to start this new chapter,” Díaz said in a brief interview with Bayern’s media team.
