Man Caught With Human Breast as Police Foil Kidnap, Theft

A wave of criminal arrests in Anambra State has left residents stunned, as the police uncovered a gruesome case involving a 25-year-old man, Samuel Eze, found in possession of a severed female breast.

The discovery, confirmed by Anambra State Police Command Spokesman, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, was made during a routine patrol by joint security forces on Jude Onyekwere Street in Awada, Obosi around 3:30 p.m. on July 6.

“The body part was recovered and immediately deposited at the morgue,” Ikenga said in a statement issued on Sunday. “The suspect is currently undergoing intensive interrogation to uncover the circumstances behind the act and any potential accomplices.”

In a separate operation, the state’s Rapid Response Squad (RRS) successfully rescued a kidnapped truck driver on July 4 at about 12:45 p.m.

According to the police, the driver had been abducted by a group of three men who diverted his N9.5 million worth of custard powder en route to Asaba, Delta State.

The suspects, Udegenyi Ugochukwu (38), Anayochukwu Okonkwo (47), and Good Odigili (47), reportedly confessed during questioning that they had tied the driver up in the bush and planned to reroute the goods to Enugwu-Ukwu for illegal resale.

Further adding to a busy weekend for law enforcement, a suspiciously abandoned custom-colour Toyota Sienna van, bearing the registration number 736 JP and marked with the inscription “Forum of Accountants Delta State”, was recovered by Obosi Police Division operatives on July 5.

Police are urging anyone who recognizes the vehicle to come forward with credible proof of ownership for verification and retrieval.

The Anambra State Police Command has reaffirmed its commitment to public safety, noting that joint security efforts involving the Nigerian Police Force, Military, Civil Defence, DSS, Immigration, and Anambra Vigilante Group (AVG) are ongoing across the state.

“Surveillance, raids, and patrols will continue to ensure criminals find no hiding place in Anambra,” Ikenga assured.
