. Several houses burnt, other properties destroyed
A fresh violence broke out in Bauchi State capital on Saturday morning leaving several people dead and many houses set ablaze.
It was learnt that the violence erupted in the Sakai and Kagadama areas of Bauchi Metropolis following a clash between rival youth groups in angular Taya and Taiwan.
The violence was said to have also extended to other areas.
But security operatives belonging to the Mobile Police Force, Rapid Response Squad(RRS) and Quick intervention Unit(QIU) of the Bauchi Police Command have been deployed in the troubled areas to quell the violence.
