Kaka Igbokwe, a former manager to the Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2face, has publicly confirmed that the singer was indeed arrested in London, UK, following a fierce dispute with his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru.
The confirmation came during Kaka’s appearance on broadcaster Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live session yesterday evening, the 1st of December, 2025.
2face had traveled to the UK with his new wife, who is also a lawmaker in the Edo State House of Assembly, for a concert tour but failed to show up at a scheduled performance on the 2nd of October, 2025. His absence had initially fueled rumors that he had been detained following a fight with Natasha at the airport.
Kaka, who is the son of the late Nigerian music legend, Christy Essien-Igbokwe, verified the speculation, stating that “everything you heard about the couple’s face-off was true.”

Kaka, who was part of the London team and on the same flight as the couple, recounted the sequence of events. He explained that the altercation began when Natasha became upset. She reportedly felt 2face abandoned her after their arrival, having strolled away with fans who proceeded to usher him into a shop.
When the Singer realized his wife was left behind, he quickly returned to her side. However, the situation escalated as she lashed out at him, which ultimately resulted in the singer being arrested and handcuffed.
The controversy was reignited online after blogger Tosin Silverdam posted a video clip purportedly showing the arrest on TikTok on the 1st of December, 2025, sparking fresh public debate over the previously denied incident.
