Popular Nigerian singer Emmanuel Adewale, fondly called Mayorkun, has revealed that he is seriously considering relocating abroad, citing the ongoing struggles in the country.
The singer shared his thoughts with fans on social media on the 31st of March, 2025, noting that he is thinking of relocating.
In a post on his X handle, he said, “I dey reason to japa (relocate).”
This announcement comes at a time when a growing number of Nigerian celebrities are making the move overseas.

Prominent figures like Eldee, Dr. Sid, Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Rita Dominic, Uche Jombo, Emeka Ike, and others have already left the country in the past decade.
Just last year, veteran musician Banky W also disclosed that he and his family had relocated to the United States for educational purposes, also Reality TV Star Tacha also relocated to the UK last year for greener pastures.
