Mohbad advises youths against drug dealing

Nigerian pop artist, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji, popularly known as Mohbad, has advised youths across the country to do away from drug dealings.

The singer was speaking for the first time after he was arrested by the operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.

Mohbad and a fellow Marlian Music signee, Zinoleesky, were arrested last week Wednesday after a midnight raid by the NDLEA on their residence in Lagos.

Naira Marley, who is their boss, had accused the NDLEA of physically assaulting Mohbad before he was released.

“NDLEA has released Mohbad after physically assaulting him, Zinoleesky is still in custody. The boys are under a lot of stress after being ambushed in the middle of the night with no warrant,” Naira Marley had tweeted.

Following this, Mohbad, on Thursday morning, advised fans and youths to desist from drugs.

He wrote “ Love and Light. Don’t do drugs.”

This comes three days after Zinoleesky spoke for the first time after the incident.

In a video he shared on his Instagram page on Monday, Zinoleesky appreciated his fans and family for coming through for him during the period.
