More crises have rocked the ruling All Progressives Congress as the National Secretary of the Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), James Akpanudoedehe has resigned his position.
Information gathered by FirstNews had it that the development came after some forces in the party enforced the secretary’s resignation.
This is coming barely 24 hours after Niger State governor, Sani Bello took over the leadership of the party from Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni.
Recall that the party has been struggling to hold its national convention but for different crises rocking it at different levels.
The convention which was fixed for February was later shifted to March 26 following the alleged moves by some of its members who were positioned to hijack the party’s structure.
