Moses Aduku Named New Head Coach of Falconets

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially named Moses Aduku as the new head coach of the U20 women’s national team, the Falconets.

This announcement follows the approval by the NFF Executive Committee of a recommendation put forward by its Technical and Development Sub-Committee.

Aduku steps into the role previously held by Coach Chris Danjuma, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a solid track record in women’s football.

Known for his leadership at top-tier clubs like Bayelsa Queens and Edo Queens, Aduku has built a strong reputation for developing talent and achieving results on the domestic scene.

He is no stranger to the Falconets either, having served as an assistant coach during their impressive run to the quarter-finals at the 2022 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.

His familiarity with the squad and experience on the global stage are seen as key assets as Nigeria prepares for the next round of qualifiers.

The Falconets face a crucial 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifying match against Rwanda in September, and expectations are high for Aduku to lead the team with confidence and tactical clarity.

With Aduku now at the helm, Nigeria’s quest for another World Cup appearance in the youth category begins in earnest.
