Nigerian singer and businessman, Mr Eazi, has suggested that proceeds from his music career alone could not have covered the costs of his recent wedding to actress Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola.
He made the remark in response to a comment on X, where a user alleged that his newly released track, Cassanova, was aimed at recovering wedding expenses.
Mr Eazi replied: “U think sey music go fit pay for that wedding my G? lol”.
Another user countered, arguing that the artist’s earnings from 2018 would have been more than enough to fund the ceremony.
Addressing that claim, the singer said his 2017–2018 period, though musically successful, was his toughest financially.

Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola recently tied the knot in a private ceremony in Iceland.
The couple, who got engaged in April 2022 in London, first met through Temi’s elder sister, DJ Cuppy, who was friends with the singer.
