Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Abi, has revealed that her decision to join the reality show was initially opposed by her husband.
The model and chef from Osun State disclosed this during her introduction by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu at the season’s premiere on Sunday, July 26, 2026.
According to Abi, her husband questioned her reasons for entering Biggie’s house but eventually changed his position and supported her participation.

She also revealed that they first met on TikTok, where their interaction later developed into a relationship and marriage.
Now among the 24 contestants competing in the new season, Abi said she was ready to embrace the experience and make the most of the opportunities offered by the platform.
Her account contrasts with that of Tega Dominic, a married contestant in BBNaija Season 6 in 2021, whose husband, Ajeboh Kris Lawrence, publicly supported her participation.
Abi will now be seeking viewers’ backing as she competes to remain in the house and progress in the competition.
