Contentious Nigerian artist, Portable, has made a startling revelation about the origins of his Instagram page, admitting that he initially created it with the intention of scamming people.
During a candid conversation with content creator, Egungun of Lagos, the singer was asked about the mysterious name ‘Elizabeth Joyce’ on his Instagram profile. In response, Portable confessed that before fame found him, he had dabbled in learning Yahoo Yahoo (internet fraud) and had set up the account as part of his attempts.
Recounting how his ambitions as a ‘Yahoo boy’ were cut short, he explained:
“To be honest with you, I created an Instagram account when I wanted to learn Yahoo Yahoo (internet fraud). That was why I initially opened the account, but it didn’t work out. I later went back to edit the account and removed the foreigner’s picture from it when I heard that people were looking for me online because I had become successful. Na working account.”
