NAF Airstrike Wipes Out ISWAP Base in Borno, Dozens Killed

Dozens of ISWAP fighters are down. Their strongholds shattered. The Nigerian military’s Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) has just delivered a major blow to insurgents operating in Borno State’s Timbuktu Triangle.

At exactly 1500 hours on Thursday, fighter jets zeroed in on the Chiraliya area, a known ISWAP haven. The operation, based on “credible intelligence and real-time surveillance,” was fast, calculated, and unforgiving.

“Our platforms launched a deliberate and highly coordinated air interdiction at the Chiraliya terrorists’ hideout,” one source revealed.

“We achieved direct hits on multiple targets, including makeshift shelters, logistics stores, and enemy movement corridors.”

Battle Damage Assessment later confirmed what the ISR footage had already hinted at—total destruction. Secondary explosions followed the strikes, a strong sign of weapons and fuel caches going up in flames.

Terrorists who tried to flee were hunted down by follow-on strikes as they dashed toward nearby forests.

This is not an isolated mission. It’s part of an ongoing campaign to choke ISWAP’s resources, block their movements, and crush any plans to attack military or civilian targets.
