The National Assembly has endorsed President Bola Tinubu as the next president for a second term in the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking at the APC National Summit held at the Presidential Villa on Thursday, the Senate president, Godswill Akpabio, alongside the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudden Abbas, jointly announced the House’s collective decision to back Tinubu for a second term.

Akpabio officially proposed the motion to endorse Tinubu, and it received support from Abass.
Although President Tinubu is currently in the midst of his first term, the political atmosphere is becoming increasingly intense with rising discussions about his potential re-election campaign.
