NDA Announces June 13 For 78th Regular Course Nationwide Screening Test

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced that its Screening Test for the 78 Regular Course will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, across all states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.

The announcement was contained in a statement posted on the Academy’s official X handle on Tuesday, May 19, and signed by the Academy Registrar.

According to the statement, only candidates who scored 180 and above in the April 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), and who selected the NDA as their first-choice institution, are eligible to participate.

Eligible applicants will receive an email on May 20, 2026, instructing them to select their preferred state for the screening test.

The academy explained that the process is designed to facilitate the allocation of examination centres nationwide.

Candidates are required to complete the selection of their preferred test location not later than May 24, 2026.

The NDA advised applicants to choose their state of residence as their examination venue, noting that the screening exercise will be conducted simultaneously across the country.

“The selection of location (State) of choice for the test is to be done latest by 24 May 2026,” the statement read.

It further stated that candidates would be notified of their assigned examination centres in the first week of June 2026.

The institution also assured applicants of timely updates and clear instructions via email, adding that the Academy remains committed to fairness and equal opportunity for all qualified candidates nationwide.
