…prays for God’s grace to move state in right direction
A reputable Ondo State indigene and renowned entrepreneur , Mr Oluranti Netufo, has commiserated with Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, the Akeredolu family and the good people of Ondo State on the demise of former governor, Arakurin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu.
Netufo,in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja, recalled that Akeredolu was a courageous leader who was passionate about the development of Ondo State.
The statement read, “He symbolized courage, equality, fairness and justice. He lived a successful life. As a lawyer, he rose through the ranks to become a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN. He was Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ondo State; forrmer president of the Nigeria Bar Association, and second term Governor of Ondo State. His life was, indeed, an inspiration to younger generations. Through the help of God, he was able to write his name in the sands of time. He will forever be remembered for outstanding legacies.
“Let me use this medium to encourage Governor Ayedatiwa to continue and sustain the good works of the former governor. This is the time to bring everybody together and be a father to all. The progress and development of Ondo State must be of primary concern. There should not be any room for division. We need a united front to move forward as a state.
“While l congratulate Governor Ayedatiwa on his rise to the position of a substantive Governor, l pray God to direct his path and imbue him with wisdom to move the state to the next level.”
