NFF Celebrates Gusau, Pinnick, Falode, Mustapha’s Appointments into Key FIFA Committees

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has congratulated its President, Ibrahim Musa Gusau, and other distinguished Nigerian football administrators on their recent appointments into various FIFA committees.

In a statement signed posted on it’s official Facebook page on Tuesday by the NFF Executive Committee and Management, the federation described the appointments as “a great honour to Nigerian football and a recognition of the country’s growing stature in the global football community.”

The statement read: “The NFF Executive Committee and Management heartily congratulate our President, Ibrahim Musa Gusau, on his well-deserved appointment into the FIFA Men’s Club Competitions Committee. We also extend our warm felicitations to our former President and former FIFA Council Member, Amaju Pinnick, on his appointment as Deputy Chair of the FIFA Men’s National Teams Competitions Committee; to our Member, Aisha Falode, on her inclusion in the FIFA Media & Communications Committee; and to former President of the CAF Appeal Board, A.U. Mustapha, on his appointment into the FIFA Anti-Racism and Anti-Discrimination Committee.”

The federation further expressed pride in the recognition accorded to these Nigerian officials, noting that it reflects the global confidence in the quality of football leadership emerging from the country.

“These appointments are a testament to the credibility, capacity, and commitment of Nigerian administrators to the growth of football, both at home and on the world stage. We are proud of them and confident they will continue to make Nigeria proud,” the NFF stated.
