NFF Finalizes Plans for CAF B-License Coaching Course

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has solidified arrangements to host a four-month CAF B-License Coaching Course aimed at enhancing the capacity of Nigerian coaches and equipping them to meet current and future challenges in football.

The program, which accommodates both male and female coaches, underscores the NFF’s commitment to the development of technical expertise in the country.

NFF Technical Director, Augustine Eguavoen, revealed to thenff.com that the course will be conducted in modules as part of the federation’s broader strategy to strengthen coaching standards across Nigeria.

The program, scheduled to run from 7th April to 25th August 2025, has strict eligibility criteria. Interested participants must:

Be active coaches.

Hold a CAF C-License certificate that has been in use for the past two years.

Be proficient in English (reading and writing).

Possess basic computer skills and a laptop.

Have a valid Gmail account.

Submit a medical certificate proving physical and mental fitness.
“We are targeting a maximum number of 25 participants,” Eguavoen disclosed. He added that applicants must pass a pre-course assessment before receiving a CAF CMS registration link.

A payment of N500,000 must be made by 31st March 2025 to secure a place in the program.

This initiative follows the NFF’s successful organization of a CAF C-License course exclusively for women in 2024.

That historic program, held between July and September, was the first of its kind and attracted 30 women coaches, including former Nigerian internationals.

The NFF’s focus on capacity building reflects its dedication to fostering a new generation of highly skilled coaches capable of competing on the global stage.

Further details on the upcoming CAF B-License Coaching Course will be provided on the NFF’s official platforms in the coming weeks.
