Nigerian Stars Shine in 2026 Grammy Nominations

A fresh list of contenders for the 2026 Grammy Awards has been announced, putting several Nigerian stars in the spotlight once again.

The organisers released the shortlist on Friday night, highlighting key categories that featured top talents from Africa and beyond.

Davido and Omah Lay secured a nomination for Best African Music Performance with their joint track, “With You.”

That category also features “Love” by Burna Boy and “Gimme Dat” by Ayra Starr and Wizkid.

Burna Boy earned another nod in the Best Global Music Album race with “No Sign of Weakness,” adding to his growing record as a previous Grammy winner.
