Twin brothers Joel and Jeffrey Ezugwu, originally from Nigeria, have launched ZuguTV, a digital streaming platform designed to give African audiences—especially those in the diaspora—access to homegrown television content.

The idea was inspired by their own experiences after relocating to the United States in 2010. Missing the shows they grew up watching, and prompted by their father’s request to access Nigerian channels such as NTA and AIT abroad, the brothers set out to create a service that would make African programming easily available to viewers worldwide.

ZuguTV offers a range of content including music videos, cooking shows, news, reality series, and classic Nigerian dramas, with the aim of preserving cultural connection for Africans living overseas.

According to the founders, the platform is not only a source of entertainment but also a means of showcasing African culture to a wider audience. They hope ZuguTV will become a go-to destination for viewers seeking authentic African stories and programming.
