The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has extended its special passport intervention programme in the United Kingdom to November 27, 2026, following sustained demand for passport services.
The service said the extension was directed by Interior Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo to accommodate more applicants.
The exercise will run from November 3 to 27 in London and Manchester, while services in Aberdeen and Cardiff are scheduled for November 3 to 6.

The London centre is at 56–57 Fleet Street, Temple, London EC4Y 1JU, while the Manchester venue is Nigerian House, 23 Platt Lane, Manchester M14 5NE.
In Aberdeen, applicants can visit Hilton Convention Centre, 13 Smithfield Road, Aberdeen AB24 4NR. The Cardiff centre is Western Leisure Centre, Ely, Cardiff CF5 5HJ.
The extension follows earlier adjustments to the programme. In September, the NIS reported that 5,099 applicants had been enrolled at its London and Manchester centres, underscoring demand for passport services among Nigerians in the UK.
Applicants are advised to confirm appointment and documentation requirements through official NIS channels before visiting their designated centres.
