Davido, the Nigerian superstar behind countless chart-topping hits, is turning a new leaf and this time, it’s about his personal life, not his music.
The singer, whose real name is David Adeleke, made a candid appearance on the Breakfast Club podcast, where he spoke about his journey toward monogamy and why he’s choosing peace over chaos.
“I’m not cheating again. I don’t want wahala. I don’t want any wahala. I have five kids with four women,” Davido stated plainly, signaling a firm break from the lifestyle that once defined his headlines.
He recalled the polygamous setups he witnessed growing up: “My uncle that’s a governor has two wives. Another of my uncles: all his wives lived with him, and they played with each other. But upon all the money, there’s still wahala… It wasn’t just about observing, it was about learning.

“Maybe because I’ve had bad experiences. Sometimes experience is the best teacher,” he added.
