Veteran Nollywood actor Bruno Iwuoha has died after a protracted illness.
The thespian who was said to be suffering from diabetes and loss of
sight died on Saturday at the National Hospital in Abuja.
It was learnt that Iwuoha was in a coma for a while.
The late actor was named best supporting actor at the third Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2007 for his role in Sins of the Flesh.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria, which said in February that it wasl launchingan appeal fund for him and other ailing actors, is expected to make an official statement concerning Iwuoha’s death.
