Olubadan Coronation: Tinubu Jets to Ibadan for Ladoja’s Historic Installation

President Bola Tinubu on Friday departed Abuja for Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, to attend the coronation of former Governor Rashidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

The President’s aircraft took off from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at about 12:45 p.m.

In Ibadan, Tinubu is expected to lead dignitaries and traditional rulers to the historic Mapo Hall, where the final installation of the new monarch will take place.

Ladoja ascended the throne following the death of Oba Owolabi Olakulehin on July 7, 2025.
