First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has celebrated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 60th birthday, commending his contributions to Nigeria’s development and public service.
In a birthday message shared on her X handle on Wednesday, Tinubu congratulated Shettima on attaining what she described as his Diamond Jubilee, while joining his wife, Nana Shettima, family and friends in celebrating the milestone.
She described the Vice President as a leader who has demonstrated strength, loyalty, commitment and love for Nigeria in his capacity as the nation’s second-in-command.
“60 Hearty Cheers to Your Excellency.
“On this occasion of your Diamond Jubilee, I join your wife, Her Excellency Hajia Nana Shettima, family and friends in celebrating you,” she wrote.
The First Lady also highlighted Shettima’s previous roles in public service and the private sector, celebrating his tenure as governor of Borno State, his time as a senator and his career in banking.

“I celebrate your achievements as former Governor of Borno State, a former distinguished Senator and an accomplished Banker,” she added.
Tinubu prayed for continued blessings and divine protection for the Vice President as he marks the milestone birthday.
“As you attain this milestone, I pray Almighty Allah continues to bless you with divine health, peace, joy and happiness,” she said.
She concluded her message by wishing Shettima a happy birthday and continued success in his service to the nation.
