𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐃: Nigerian superstar Victor Osimhen has officially informed Napoli of his intent to join Turkish giants Galatasaray, with the transfer now in its final stages, according to sources close to the deal.
Galatasaray are prepared to trigger the €75 million release clause, a figure that would make Osimhen the most expensive signing in Turkish football history.
However, while the fee is not in question, the structure of the payment is still under negotiation.
The Istanbul-based club is pushing to spread the payments over five years, a plan exclusively revealed earlier this week.
Napoli, however, are demanding strict financial guarantees before signing off on the deal, seeking to avoid delayed or defaulted payments.

Osimhen, 26, is said to be eager to finalize the move quickly, having already agreed personal terms with Galatasaray.
The striker is believed to be excited about the club’s Champions League project and the chance to become the face of Turkish football.
After three prolific seasons in Serie A, where he led Napoli to a Scudetto and netted over 60 goals, Osimhen now looks set to embark on a new chapter in Istanbul — pending final agreement between the clubs.
An official announcement is expected in the coming days once Napoli are satisfied with the payment assurances.
