Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo has paid a condolences visit to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and family over the loss of his beloved son.
Osinbajo commiserated with Adeboye and family in the company of the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun and the Minister of State for Labour, Festus Keyamo.
VP’s Senior Special Assistant on media and publicity, Laolu Akande, made this known on his official Twitter handle.
He prayed God to give Pastor Adeboye and his family the fortitude to bear this painful loss.
“If we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we belong to God.” — Romans 14:8,” he said.
Earlier, President Muhammadu Buhari also tweeted a condolence message on his official page to commiserate with the family.
“My deepest sympathies to the family of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), on the passing of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye. I pray that God Almighty will grant the departed rest, and comfort grieving family, friends & associates,” he wrote.
