The Independent National Electoral Commission has commenced the distribution of non-sensitive electoral materials in Osogbo, Osun State, ahead of the forthcoming election.
The distribution exercise began on Friday at the commission’s Osogbo Local Government office located along Ilobu Road.
The exercise is part of INEC’s preparations to ensure the timely deployment of electoral materials ahead of the poll.
Electoral officials and other relevant stakeholders are expected to oversee the movement and distribution of the materials to designated locations across the local government area.

The commission has continued preparations for the election, with logistics and other arrangements being put in place to facilitate a smooth electoral process.
The distribution of non-sensitive materials is one of the key logistical steps ahead of the deployment of other electoral materials closer to election day.
