French forward Ousmane Dembélé has been named the winner of the 2025 Ballon d’Or, recognising him as the world’s best footballer for his outstanding performances with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) during the 2024–25 season.
The award was presented on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
Dembélé played a pivotal role in PSG’s historic season, scoring 33 goals and providing 13 assists across all competitions.
He helped lead the club to victories in Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, the Trophée des Champions, and their first-ever UEFA Champions League title, including scoring and assisting in PSG’s 5–0 triumph over Inter Milan in the final.
