Suspected armed robbers have invaded the Fresh FM, a radio station belonging to popular Nigerian musician, Yinka Ayefele, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Reports said the radio station was attacked by the robbers in the early hours of Sunday.
A member of staff of Fresh FM, Abolade Salami, during his programme, ‘Agbo Oselu’, said the assailants invaded the station at about 6 am with firearms and did away with valuables belonging to the members of the staff on duty.
Another staff member of the radio station, opting for anonymity, confirmed the attack, saying: “Yes it happened. There is no fatality.”
