Pantami speaks on relationship with Boko Haram

Nigerian Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, on Monday, denied the raging report on social media which linked him with Boko Haram terrorists.

The reports in some social media had alleged that Pantami shared ties with the late Boko Haram founder, Mohammed Yusuf.

But the minister while reacting on Tweeter said he has been on the frontline condemning the Boko Haram activities for over 15 years.

Pantami, who is also an Islamic cleric added, “My lectures against the doctrines and all other evil people have been available for over 15 years, including debates that endangered my life against many criminals in Nigeria.

“If you can’t understand Hausa, get an objective Hausa speaker to translate for you objectively.”
