Paris FC Secure Signing of Nigerian Winger Moses Simon on Three-Year Deal

In a bold move to bolster their attacking options, Paris FC have confirmed the signing of Nigerian international Moses Simon on a contract that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2028.

The 29-year-old winger joins from FC Nantes and brings with him a wealth of experience from both Ligue 1 and international football, having earned over 60 caps for Nigeria.

Known for his pace, creativity, and work rate, Simon is expected to play a key role as Paris FC aims to solidify its position in French football.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Moses Simon to the Paris FC family,” said club sporting director Pierre Ferracci. “He’s a dynamic player who will add energy and depth to our squad. His international pedigree and Ligue 1 experience make him an invaluable addition.”

Simon, who began his European career with AS Trenčín before spells at Gent and Levante, had been with Nantes since 2019.

His versatility on the wings and consistent performances earned him fan-favorite status, as well as a place in Nigeria’s squad for multiple AFCON tournaments.

Paris FC, who have shown ambition in the transfer market this summer, view Simon as a statement signing—highlighting their intent to challenge higher up the Ligue 2 table, or possibly even eye a push for promotion.

Moses Simon is expected to join up with his new teammates immediately ahead of the club’s preseason preparations.
