Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has marked 59 years of marriage with his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, thanking God for His faithfulness throughout their journey.
Adeboye disclosed this in a message posted on his X account on Tuesday, where he reflected on the experiences that have shaped their marriage over nearly six decades.
He described their years together as a journey that has brought moments of happiness, difficulties, personal growth and answered prayers, all of which he said had given them reasons to remain thankful to God.

The cleric also stressed that marriage goes beyond celebrating happy moments, saying it requires couples to continually choose each other, exercise patience, forgive, grow together, pray and depend on God through changing circumstances.
“Above all, we are grateful that God has been at the centre of our home. Every step of the way, He has remained faithful,” Adeboye said
He also thanked everyone who had supported, prayed for and shown love to him, his wife and their family over the years.
“As we celebrate 59 years together, our hearts are filled with thanksgiving to God and appreciation for everyone who has loved, prayed for and supported us and our family over the years.
We are grateful for the journey so far, and we look forward to all that God still has in store.
“To God be all the glory,” he said.
Adeboye and his wife concluded the anniversary message with: “With love, Pastor Enoch and Pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye. 59 Years and still grateful.”
