Veteran Nollywood actor, Patrick Doyle, has expressed his disapproval over singer Davido’s choice of attire during his visit to the palace of the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.
The singer was in Delta State to perform at the recent ‘Warri Again’ concert held over the weekend.
This appearance follows a year after Amaju Pinnick, the former president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), filed a N2.3 billion breach of contract lawsuit against Davido for failing to show up at the 19th edition of the event on the 6th of October, 2023.
However, it appears that both parties have settled their legal differences discreetly, as the singer took the stage at the 2024 edition of the concert.
Prior to his performance, Davido joined Pinnick, singer Phyno, comedian AY Makun, and Cubana Chief Priest on a visit to the Olu of Warri’s palace.
Commenting on the photos of Davido and the monarch, Doyle, who hails from Delta State, criticized the singer’s outfit, and said its “inappropriate ” for a royal engagement.
